For Joe Meugniot that doesn’t mean he’s lost. It just means, now that his 2021 GMC AT4 2500 got the GO BIG TRUCK PERFORMANCE treatment he can go places he’s never been to before.
Joe’s busy schedule didn’t allow him to venture off road much and his search for a suitable 4x4 was taking longer than he thought. After some tedious searching, he found a black GMC AT4 diesel 4x4 in Colorado and it was love at first sight.
Once back home in California Joe wanted mods. Some new wheels and tires and a lift kit. You know, nothing crazy. But once Joe saw all the options that were available for this General Motors truck he handed the keys to us and said “Do It” and boy did we. We installed a CST 4-inch Stage 9 Suspension System with 2.5 KING SHOCKS with remote reservoirs.
As everyone knows, once you lift a truck it makes it a bit difficult to climb in so we installed a set of AMP steps to make it easier to get in and out of the cab. Naturally, you have to upgrade the wheels and tires. Joe chose ICON 20x9 wheels mounted on 37X12.50R20/10 126Q NITTO RIDGE GRAPPLER tires that are suited for both on and off-road performance. Plus this combo just looks sick, we love them.
Now that the AT4 was looking good and riding like a boss. Joe knew something was missing? In order to traverse the rocky roads and desert plains of California and beyond, Joe knew he needed more than looks to get there. He asked Tiger (Owner) how can…. I GO BIGGER?
Tiger knew exactly what the AT4 needed. After a quick call to Banks Engineering, it was definitely going to go big. First, was the Banks GEN 2 Derringer system with the IDASH 1.8 DATAMONSTER with a Pedal Monster mount kit which holds a single gauge pod. This allows for the best placement to keep tabs on all the vitals of the operating system. To complete the system we installed the BANKS Monster® Exhaust System 5-inch Single Exit, with a BlackSideKick exhaust tip to finish out the power system.
We also installed a TITAN TANKS 56 GALLON- EXTRA CAPACITY FUEL TANK which will allow Joe to travel just about anywhere he chooses. Lastly, we refilled the rear differential with 75W140 LUCAS SYNTHETIC GEAR OIL and replaced the stock diff cover with a BANKS Black Ops 19288 Ram-Air® Differential Cover Kit.
